La Focarina di S. Giuseppe - On the night of March 18th, at the gates of the spring equinox, it is tradition in our land to burn brushwood and remains of winter in large bonfires to leave room for the rebirth of spring. The scents in the air are intense and fresh, new yet ancient. In our region all the men and women of the village gather around the large bonfire. The old men tell stories to the children and the bravest boys jump into fire in defiance and to demonstrate their worth. With this fire all the pains and problems of winter are burned and we confidently await the arrival of the joy and happiness that spring brings with it. From that fire all the hopes of the days to come rise, like an apotropaic and collective prayer. A world of tales and ancient popular tradition that come together in this complex and absolutely innovative perfume in its olfactory stylistic texture.
