Tiziana Terenzi is the brand that brings together the ancient knowledge of three generations of Master Waxers and Perfumers, combining it with the most innovative design and the search for new materials, such as vegetable waxes and artistic fragrances created with the most precious and noble essences. Through the burning flame with a wooden wick that reproduces the crackling of the fireplace, the olfactory tasting is enriched with a new and fourth sensorial experience: at the top of the classic olfactory pyramid is the aerial phase of the "smell of fire" characterized by perfume. The tasting bell will open new frontiers to your "nose". The history of this perfume was born around Lake Como. A body of water that has always fascinated us because it is so deep that it far exceeds the sea where we live, yet surrounded by a spectacular mountainous backdrop. The lake is in fact located in a basin surrounded by mountains rich in woods and offers a landscape with the most varied and fragrant aspects. Along its banks, pastures, woods, rugged and imposing rocks, picturesque villages overlooking the water and beautiful villas with parks and gardens alternate. The Center of the Lake, where the three branches meet, is the point with the mildest climate and the widest panorama. We loved reaching this water crossroads by boat to enjoy the best view of the entire Bellagio promontory, of the northern Grigna overlooking Valsassina and, on clear days, of the high basin with the Alpine chain in the background. The most familiar and loved place has always been the Lecco branch which offers a more rugged and evocative panorama, with the southern Grigna, of Dolomite origin, and the Corni di Canzo which, descending towards the lake, form suggestive coves and inlets. Our favorite refuge was the Fiumelatte spring, described by Leonardo da Vinci. This stream, which had intrigued Leonardo da Vinci, had bewitched us children due to its unique peculiarity in the world: water flows in the stream with its regular intermittency from March 25th to October 7th. The water comes out of a mysterious cave full of scents that would be impossible to verbalize as well as reductive. A place where the perfumer's alchemy came to life before anywhere else. The very rock of the cave smelled sweet. Once past the vault where the stream flows only at certain intervals, here is its riverbed which appears like a true lunar landscape wrapped in the cosmic darkness of a place where natural light never filters. Venturing inside with a torch of fire in your hand was like walking on the moon, but an even more emotional and vivid sight in your memory was coming out of the vault and finding yourself in front of the mirror of still water of the lake on which a moon was reflected. iridescent and the Big Dipper lying on top of the high mountains, both immersed in an enveloping scent of earth and roots, refreshed by the smell of water. From this emotion comes an extract with a severe character, but at the same time reassuring, like the hand that supports you on the arduous path. A strength and warmth that never abandons you.
